Inspire, Create, Share....

Did you know that this is the key message from Stampin' Up!  It says pretty much everything that I love about what I do as a Demonstrator.  Inspiration is something I hope I give as much as I gain, I certainly gain it from Stampin' Up! and my fellow Demonstrators around the world.   Creation is constant and sharing is the main reason why I converted from a customer to a Demonstrator just over five years ago.
The people I have met through Stampin' Up! are, for me, equally as wonderful as the products I have bought and used and all the new techniques I have learned.  I have made lasting friendships and together we have made fantastic memories and I hope will continue to make many more.  Let me tell you about how this happens for me by recounting some recent experiences;
Earlier this month I attended On Stage Live (our convention) in Amsterdam, I can't even begin to describe this event... it's just 'full on fantastic'!  This first photo starts to explain 'belonging', it shows Monica Gale (top rh), she is my 'upline', on my left is Donna Barrow who is my latest recruit or 'downline' team member.
Part of our 'team'
Shizzer Sisters!
Here is a photo of the 'Shizzer Sisters', we are a group of Demonstrators who just happened to travel together to a convention one year and were christened Shizzer Sisters by Alison (who is peeping round the giant frame at the back) as she calls me Issy Shizzy.  Our group name stuck even though we are not a team in Stampin' Up! terms, our group has grown too... we added Donna this year. L - R: Helen, Beth, Donna, Me, Alison, Pat and Barbara.  Pat and Barbara live in Texas and they joined our group last year when we were in Brussels, we love our American Shizzers and are so blessed that they were able to travel to Europe to be with us again this year. We were missing three Shizzers this year; Val and Nicola and newbie Karen were all unable to come.

While we were in Amsterdam this year we also got together for pizza and drinks on an evening cruise with a much larger group of other Demonstrators who are all just friends, here are a couple of pics of the Shizzers cruising!

I don't know about 'I am' I know WE were having a fantastic time larking about!

During the event there were lots of presentations by Stampin' Up! showing us new products (like the beautiful stamp above) and sharing great techniques and business ideas... there were also VERY exciting moments when we got prizes... look how happy that made us!  Woohoo Donna and Alison!!
Once I was home I was so inspired I couldn't wait to share with my customers, here I am in a class the week after On Stage, although I didn't have any new products to share at this point I was excited to share my stories and some new techniques.

Yesterday the Shizzer fun continued as just five of us travelled up to see Nicola (one of my 'downline' team members) who was unable to come to Amsterdam.  We took her some of our new products to play with and three of us designed cards using new stamp sets, ink and paper which we shared. It was fantastic to see how they all turned out slightly different, this demonstrates to me how inspire, create, share works!
Same but different!
Here are all the cards we made:
Daisy Delight
I shared these two, they use a new stamp set and punch bundle and the first card just demonstrates stamping the daisy image twice makes a fuller flower and turns it into a gerbera. The second card uses the two stamped images punched out with the co-ordinating punch.
Bike Ride
Here is Beth's wonderful card.. I totally love the feeling that the bike is whizzing along sprinkling birthday wishes as it goes.  This is a builder stamp which means you build up the image of the bicyle with different components; the frame, wheels, wheel rims, basket and flowers are all separate pieces. In photopolymer so you can see right through and where you are stamping.
Fabulous Flamingo
For Alison's card we used the Fabulous Flamingo stamp set, I really do love this set and think that the flamingo is totally fab-u-lous! It's also a photopolymer set so you can see where you are stamping and build up the layers.  I have to say that I'm not a perfectionist stamper and although I wanted to make sure the flamingo legs were lined up I wasn't too bothered that the body outline stamping was slightly off the colour, for me this makes it reminiscent of that vintage print look.

I hope you've enjoyed this post and that I've inspired you to get creative... most of all I hope I've inspired you to join Stampin' Up! as a Demonstrator and share your creativity through friendships you've yet to make.
Please get in touch if you would love to join my team; Issy's Crafty Bees... remember you will also become a member of the Shizzer Sisters and a whole world of fun times are here!! You can contact me by phone, email or PM all my details are on my contacts page.

Stampin' Up! retiring products listings for 2017

Hey Stampers!  It's that time of year again where our stampin' emotions run high.  On the one hand as a Demonstrator I'm excited to get an early look at the new Annual Catalogue and new products that are on their way to you.....eeeek! On the other hand I'm feeling a little tiny bit blue about some favourite products that will be retiring at the end of May... boooo!

So, here's my message to you; join your emotions and get happy that you can get some of these wonderful favourite products before they retire and some of them are discounted.

There are too many for me to put on individual pictures but here is a link to a PDF document for you to print and peruse at your leisure or you can click the header of this post and you will be directed straight through to my shop where there are pictures and prices.  Please, please, please do this quickly as these products are only available WHILE STOCKS LAST and I don't want you to be disappointed.

Place your order with me during April using this host code:   QCJPF2X4   and I will put your name on my mailing list for a free catalogue posted out during the last week of May.

footnote: you may notice on the 'retiring bundles' section that some of these include stamp sets and dies that are not on the individual retiring pages, this simply means that they are only retiring as a bundled price and they will be available in the new catalogue but priced individually.

Don't miss out!

Well we're halfway through the month and almost at the end of Sale-A-Bration for another whole year. It's been such a brilliant SAB this year with so many freebies to choose from, did you have a favourite?  Mine was the 'Inside the Lines' speciality designer series paper.  I love it for three reasons; it has BEES in it!, I love colouring in and lastly... because I got it FREE.

All you have to do to get your own free pack of these papers is place an order with me for £45 - so easy. Don't know what to order?  Well how about the stamp set and matching dies that Kerry mentioned in the video, they're available in a bundle for £42.25 (item number 144728) saving you 10%, add some adhesive and you're there... Or how about some colouring media?  Those gorgeous watercolour pencils Kerry used are £14.50 (item number 141709), add a set of Stampin Write markers in the colour family of your choice for £27.50 and some adhesive ...

Such fun! let's stay inside the lines ;-) Don't forget SAB ends 31st March.

Last Month of SAB

I've just loved Sale-A-Bration so much this year... not only for the freebies but the inspiration and creativity using those free products has been so wonderful.

I created a Pinterest board specifically to share any special offers available so if you don't follow me there already, check out that board using this link.

We're just entering the last month of Sale-A-Bration and then it's over for another whole year, so if you haven't placed a qualifying order during this promotion yet.. what have you been waiting for?!!

Here's a little inspiration from Carrie at Stampin' Up! home office to help.  Don't forget, SAB ends on 31st March, once it's ended no more freebies for another year.

It's so easy to shop with me, you can click the link at the top of this page or if you're local to Retford then you can call, email or direct message me.

WOW! What's better than free stuff?  MORE free stuff!!

As you know it's Sale-A-Bration time at Stampin' Up! which means that for every £45 you spend on products from either the main catalogue or the Spring/Summer seasonal catalogue you get to choose one free item from the SAB list.

Well, some of my customers already managed to get all the items from the SAB brochure ... I know, but it's true, they did!  So, it gives me much delight to reveal today the new additions to the selection - aka SAB #2.

You can choose from two different stamp sets and .... drum roll please.... a pack of 6" x 6" glimmer paper in three different colours.  And breathe.

Reverse Words is the first stamp set, this is fabulous as it features a nice wash of colour effect with the word sentiment shown as a negative image.  Really simple but fun and effective.  It's available in either wood mount or clear.

The second stamp set is this adorable Make A Medallion set of 8 stamps, this one is photopolymer for a good reason.  The medallion images layer up perfectly to allow you to stamp them in a variety of different ways.  Including those three simple sentiments just adds the icing on the cake for me.... love it!
Who doesn't need more glimmer paper? A stack of it is awesome and in colours never seen before in glimmer, just perfect to co-ordinate with some of the amazing suites of DSP in the Spring/Summer seasonal catalogue.  Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron and Sweet Sugarplum, yes please!

Want some ideas on how to use this scrummy paper?  Here is Shannon from Stampin' Up! home office with a tasty video.

Don't forget that these are all available when you place a qualifying order (£45) until the end of March.  All the first release SAB items are also still available.
It's easy to place your order - just click the 'visit my shop' link above.

Little crafters

I've had awesome 'half-term' visitors today in the form of my friend Sarah and her gorgeous girls Edie and Sally.
Sally is 'addicted' to crafting and has been looking forward to a trip to my craft room for ages.  She immediately clocked a project I made a few weeks ago and said she wanted to make one of her own.  It's a small 'altered' tin and mine has birds in but Sally was very clear that hers needed to have a red rabbit in it.
Edie is really creative too but just has such a zest for life that she wants to do everything all at once!  She made a great 3D panda floating on a cloud (which I sadly didn't take a picture of) and then interspersed her activity (indoors and outdoors with Mr Mo) with a little colouring using the free DSP from Sale-A-Bration.. a hit!
Their visit really cheered me up as I'm full of a head cold.  Here are a few pics of Sally's masterpiece.

The Red Cage! Utterly adorable.
