More FREEBIES!

WOW! What's better than free stuff?  MORE free stuff!!

As you know it's Sale-A-Bration time at Stampin' Up! which means that for every £45 you spend on products from either the main catalogue or the Spring/Summer seasonal catalogue you get to choose one free item from the SAB list.

Well, some of my customers already managed to get all the items from the SAB brochure ... I know, but it's true, they did!  So, it gives me much delight to reveal today the new additions to the selection - aka SAB #2.

You can choose from two different stamp sets and .... drum roll please.... a pack of 6" x 6" glimmer paper in three different colours.  And breathe.

Reverse Words is the first stamp set, this is fabulous as it features a nice wash of colour effect with the word sentiment shown as a negative image.  Really simple but fun and effective.  It's available in either wood mount or clear.

The second stamp set is this adorable Make A Medallion set of 8 stamps, this one is photopolymer for a good reason.  The medallion images layer up perfectly to allow you to stamp them in a variety of different ways.  Including those three simple sentiments just adds the icing on the cake for me.... love it!
Who doesn't need more glimmer paper? A stack of it is awesome and in colours never seen before in glimmer, just perfect to co-ordinate with some of the amazing suites of DSP in the Spring/Summer seasonal catalogue.  Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron and Sweet Sugarplum, yes please!

Want some ideas on how to use this scrummy paper?  Here is Shannon from Stampin' Up! home office with a tasty video.

Don't forget that these are all available when you place a qualifying order (£45) until the end of March.  All the first release SAB items are also still available.
It's easy to place your order - just click the 'visit my shop' link above.

Little crafters

I've had awesome 'half-term' visitors today in the form of my friend Sarah and her gorgeous girls Edie and Sally.
Sally is 'addicted' to crafting and has been looking forward to a trip to my craft room for ages.  She immediately clocked a project I made a few weeks ago and said she wanted to make one of her own.  It's a small 'altered' tin and mine has birds in but Sally was very clear that hers needed to have a red rabbit in it.
Edie is really creative too but just has such a zest for life that she wants to do everything all at once!  She made a great 3D panda floating on a cloud (which I sadly didn't take a picture of) and then interspersed her activity (indoors and outdoors with Mr Mo) with a little colouring using the free DSP from Sale-A-Bration.. a hit!
Their visit really cheered me up as I'm full of a head cold.  Here are a few pics of Sally's masterpiece.

The Red Cage! Utterly adorable.

Shine a light!

It's all about the boys this week. I've just finished making all the card projects for class this Wednesday (I'll be posting them later in the week) and they're all masculine layouts. Then I realised I need to post a card to a friend's husband for his birthday.  Luckily I have some fab new stamp sets from the seasonal catalogue that I've been dying to use.
This one is High Tide and is a photopolymer set. This make stamping the lighthouse so easy with 2-step stamping...see how I got that gray over stamp as well as the red? Ooo, I also just masked tge lighthouse to stamp the sea background,  I used two colours for the sea as well. From start to finish this card took no more than 30 minutes and that's because photopolymer stamps are so easy to position. I just used an age old favourite simple sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments, I just thought that was all it needed.
Hope he likes it!

Yay! Happy New Catalogue Day

It's the most wonderful time of the year... new goodies and FREE goodies!  I just get so excited when it's new catalogue time and I'm SO ready for Spring and Summer.  I have actually had a copy of this new catalogue since November when I attended a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator event, so I've been drooling over new products pretty much all winter.  Now YOU can get your hands on lots of beautiful new products too.
If you follow me on Pinterest you will see that I have a board which showcases projects from the new catalogue and Sale-A-Bration brochure.
Sale-A-Bration makes this just the very best time of the year for me as a Demonstrator and it should be too for you as a customer.. FREE stuff!  For every £45 you spend you get to pick one item from the SAB brochure for free.. if you spend £90 you get 2 free items.. and so on and so on.. all the way from today until the end of March.
The excitement doesn't stop there either.  It's just the VERY best time of year to join Stampin' Up! as a Demonstrator.  Join my team during Sale-A-Bration and you can add a further two stamp sets to your starter kit.  That means you pay just £99 and get to choose £130 worth of kit from either the annual catalogue or spring/summer catalogue and add another two stamp sets.
It's the VERY best time to host a party too as you can earn £20 more Stampin' Rewards when your party order total reaches £200.
So, what are you waiting for?  Visit my shop NOW and get some fresh new goodies and create some gorgeous projects.

I'm an artist!

Stampin' Up! The Wilderness Awaits

No, really I am!!  Well, I've been surrounded by talented artists most of my life. My late, wonderful, stepdad was just a fabulous amateur artist, my awesome step-brother, Jonathan is a professional artist - check out his website here - my nephew, Nathan is just brilliant and ought to be a professional - check out his work here

Anyway, I've always loved being arty and crafty but never great at sketching which is why I love Stampin' Up! stamps that do the sketch for me and I can then choose how to colour them in. I've been having a play with these beautiful new watercolour pencils from Stampin' Up! They're available from our new Spring/Summer catalogue which you can order from just in the New Year (4th January). I've used watercolour pencils before and there are lots available on the market but what I love about these is that they are in Stampin' Up! colours which makes it fabulous to co-ordinate with our card stock and accessories.

Here is a project I made using some little notebooks I found in a local shop, they were just plain kraft colour but I loved the size and they just cried out to be altered.  One of my loves is nature.... animals, birds, flowers and trees and one of my absolute favourite stamp sets is The Wilderness Awaits (from the annual catalogue) and although I've stamped the stag and fox on a few projects I hadn't used the duck until now.  I used watercolour paper for this project and then a Blender Pen which made it SO easy!
Here's a peek at a foxy I did for a birthday card for a special someone who has a Christmas birthday.

Have a look at Shannon from Stampin' Up! demonstrating some of the many uses and techniques for using these brilliant pencils on this YouTube video.

I'll certainly be featuring them in my classes so if you're in the Retford area why not book yourself into a class, I'd love to see you make a wonderful work of art.

Seasons Greetings
