Love is in the air!

I was absolutely chuffed to bits to be asked by a friend's husband to design and make an anniversary card for him to give to her for their anniversary.  Not so strange you might think, but the honour was all mine as my friend, Linda, is also a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
How wonderful to have your anniversary on Valentine's Day too!  Here is my creation, hope you like it - Linda did (thank goodness!).
It's a 'swing' card - the middle square swings as you open and close the card.  The design is on the front and the sentiment on the back.  (the 'Happy Anniversary sentiment stamp is not Stampin' Up!)

Melon Mambo card stock
Night of  Navy card stock
Melon Mambo designer paper
Elizabeth a la cart stamp
'Key to my heart'  sentiment and key stamps from You're a Gem stamp set
Lucky Limeade ruffled ribbon

Cupcake Mania!

Cupcakes, cupcakes, cupcakes!  I love them... I like eating them, making them and lately papercrafting them so much.  Stampin' Up! have cleverly designed a beautiful stamp set and builder punch which is available from the Spring Mini Catalogue.
On Saturday 25th February I am running a craft class in Howden (see my classes page for more details) where I will be demonstrating how to make this beautiful gift box with a cupcake motif and two fabulous cupcake birthday cards.  So if you're like me and just can't get enough of cupcakes why not sign up for my class, or contact me to buy the lovely stamp set and punch.

Choc a block

I don't know about you but I'm a big fan of all things choccy! So, when I saw some lovely chocolate blocks from a well known high street store I thought immediately of eating them!  ... then I wondered how I could turn them into a lovely gift to give to friends.   Here is my first attempt at gift boxing the lovely chocolate blocks.  Now I just need to decide who to give them to!
